Kung Fu Hustle

Kung Fu Hustle has got to be the funniest Hong Kong action movie I've ever seen. Stephen Chow has taken the choreographer from the Matrix and tossed him into the blender with a bunch of epic scenes from Spiderman, Gangs of New York, Looney Tunes, Kill Bill, The Matrix and ended up with a comedy that also doubles up as an action packed martial arts movie. The wire work is incredible and the humour is often intelligent. Do not confuse this movie with the likes of Scary Movie!

I now need to go get Shaolin Soccer, Chow's earlier production.
